Welcome to Round 2 of the 2021 SEQ Sportfishing Series being held at Raby Bay On February 28th, all SEQ Sportfishing Series Rounds are open to all boats & kayaks with no livewell required as all our events are measure only with your starting position in order of your entry and payment.

Event Details
- Date – Sunday 28th February 2021
- Entry Fee $150 per team, A team can be made up from one boat with a solo angler or a team of two people ( 1 Extra child 16 or under can fish as extra person on a boat only) or a single kayak with one angler only.
- Teams will be fishing for their 5 Biggest Bream caught on artificial lures only (No bait or burley allowed), all fish are to be measured on a SEQ Sportfishing Service Measuring Mat Only with your key tag showing in all photos to be eligible for the event.
- Your 5 Biggest Bream will be added up for a overall length score.
- Bream size limit is 26cm to the tip of the tail, bonus species have no size limit.
- We have two bonus species for the event which will be a Snapper & Flathead (no size limit) and measure your bonus species the same as your Bream to be eligible, each of the biggest bonus species will win $50 cash and a 1 extra bonus TOS point.

Measuring & Photos of Fish.
- Below is how you measure & photograph your fish, have the nose of the fish on the allow bar and the longest tip of the fish on a measuring mark.
- We measure fish by .05cm, if the tip is over a measuring mark it is classed 0.5cm as below the fish is 31.5cm.
- Please make sure the fish photo is clear with your starting key tag in the photo.
- Please send your 5 biggest Bream photos plus any bonus species for the event to the SEQ Sportfishing Series page ONLY by 1pm, you don’t have to be back at the finish line by 1pm but all fish photos must be submitted by 1pm.
- Once your scored is calculated we will message you back with your score for you to confirm.
- Its your responsibility to send all your fish photos you you want to be counted by 1pm, no fish photos will be accepted after 1pm even if you sent the wrong one in.

Running of Event
Start & Finish location – Raby Bay Boat Ramp

- All Confirmed Teams fishing the event have been sent a Facebook message running over how the registration and start will work on the morning.
- Fishing Time 5.30am to 1pm.
- Teams are to send all of their fish photos in by 1pm, you don’t have to be back at the finish line by 1pm but your 5 Biggest Bream photos and any bonus species must be submitted by 1pm to be eligible.
- From 1pm come back to the start / finish line and bring your key tag back the tent.
- Presentation will take place at the event after all fish photos have been counted and check and all key tags have been brought back.
- If for any reason you have to leave early, had a break down or any other matter that cant see you bring your key tag back please message us through the SEQ Sportfishing Page asap to advise us.
- All winning payments will be made by bank transfer 24 hours after the end of the event to be inline of the protest rule.

No go zones & Boundaries.
Please read the no go zones and boundaries, if any team is found to be fishing is a no go zone or outside a boundary your will be DQ from the event with no return of your entry fee.
- Fishing outside a Marina is OK where Suitable but no casting inside a Marina.
- No fishing in any Locks or any area that is not open to public access. Everyone must have equal access.
- No Fishing in any Green Marine Park Zones.
- Always obey speed limits as sign posted.
- 40 Knots Max speed in Qld smooth water ways.
- 6 Knots in all canals.
- No fishing in the Brisbane River
- Southern Boundary is the southern tip of Russell Island
- No fishing in Manly Marina.
