29 Teams attended Round 1 of the 2021 SEQ Sportfishing Series that was held on the Nerang River today, this was our biggest ever turn out and anglers were fishing for the the $3670 cash and prize payout for the round including the $1200 cash to win first place payout.

1st Place – Taking out the event was Josh Bell from Team Wind Knot, last years TOS winner has started off his season in the perfect way by getting a 167.5cm Bag of 5 Bream and the Biggest Mangrove Jack at 44.5cm that secured him $1250 Cash.

2nd Place – Coming home in 2nd place was series regulars Phil & Mitch Bennet from Team Bream Me Up who measured in a 164cm Bag of 5 Bream that secured them $600 for their efforts.

3rd Place – Rounding out the top 3 was Team Map Punts of Adam Landers & Rob Bergel who caught a 161.cm Bag of 5 Bream plus the Big Bream for the event at 37.5cm that secured them a $500 Payday.

Biggest Mangrove Jack for the event – Team Wind Knot 44.5cm $50 Cash

Biggest Trevally for the event – Team on the Benda 46cm $50 Cash

Biggest Bream for the event – Team Mad Punts 37.5cm $100 Cash
