Welcome to Round 9 of the SEQ Sportfishing Series being held at Mooloolaba on October 11th, this Round is being sponsored by Liive Vision who is providing $420 worth of fishing sunglasses on top of the standard prize pool.

All SEQ Sportfishing Series Rounds are open to all anglers in boats or kayaks with all entries and payments must be completed together below by Friday 9th October

Entry Fee $100 per team, you can fish solo or as a team of two in a boat or as a single person kayak. ( 1 Extra child 16 or under can fish as extra person on a boat only)
Date – Sunday 11th October
Fishing Time – 7am to 2pm
This tournament is a lure fishing event only, no bait, burley or trolling allowed.
Teams will be fishing for their 5 Biggest Bream caught on lures only, all fish are to be measured on a SEQ Sportfishing Service Brag Mat only with a special item in all photos (Special item will be advised 6PM the night before the tournament) all photos are to be sent in before 2PM to the SEQ Sportfishing Series Facebook page.
Min size of Bream is 26cm to tip of tail
Your 5 Biggest Bream will be added up for an overall cm score.
We have extra prizes including 3 bonus species, Biggest Bream and Lowest Measure prizes as per payout schedule below.
Bonus Species don’t have any min size.

Event Running Details.

Code word needed to be written on some paper or etc and shown in all fish photos on a SEQ Sportfshing Measuring mat is – SEQ RD9 Liive Vision

No Rego or measure in at the event, the event will run through the SEQ Sportfshing Series Facebook Page to avoid large gatherings.
Teams can start at any boat ramp on the Mooloolaba River, teams to send a photo of their boat at the ramp at 7am on the morning to check in, once its 7am teams can leave to go fishing.
All Teams are to send their 5 Biggest Bream photos only plus any Bonus species to the SEQ Sportfishing Series Facebook page by 2pm, please send all at once and not as you catch them.
Results will be posted at 4PM on the day of the event.
Winning payments will be made by bank transfer 4pm the day after the event.
Prizes and vouchers will be sent out to the the winning teams.

Measuring Fish.

Below is how you measure your fish, have the nose of the fish on the allow bar and the longest tip of the fish on a measuring mark.
We measure fish by .05cm, if the tip is over a measuring mark it is classed 0.5cm as below the fish is 31.5cm.
Please make sure the fish photo is clear with the special item in the photo.
All fish photos must have the code word in the photo of the fish or it won’t be accepted.

Boundaries & No Go Zone Areas.

Please make sure you read the boundaries and no go zones, any team to be found fishing in a no go zone or outside a boundary will be DQ from the event with no return of entry fee.
